Jesus Loves Gays

I made this today. No really, go read Matthew 19. ESPECIALLY verses 10-12. Jesus plainly says to the gays that some are born that way, it is up to us (gays & Christians) to simply accept it.

Christians Who Aren’t Christians?

I would love to apologize for the countless number of “Christians” who have hurt the queer community. Being pansexual myself, I know the struggle – believe me.

I a 27 years old. I am a woman who happens to being marrying another woman this month! I discovered the term “pansexual” when I was about 16 years young. I instantly knew, man, that is me spot on. And I have since called myself this term. I have always, never in anyway, cared about what a person has under their clothing. That doesn’t matter to me. What matters to me is their spirit, who they are as a person.

Anyway, I was raised by those type of Christians who basically quote all the thundering, angry bible verses at you… You know which type I mean “homosexuality is an abomination” (they say)… Well, first of all that’s not the Bible you’re quoting there…. The word homosexual wasn’t even in USE in the Bible until the 1940’s, so yeah. Go head and keep quoting. It also says eating shrimp is an abomination, and it says it far more times than the homosexual thing.. Which, as I stated, it doesn’t really say.

I’m trying not to rant, I swear I am… It is difficult, being raised and taught to feel guilty about something that was never my choice to begin with. I really am incredibly glad that the G-d I serve is not actually the one pertained by the ones who are the loudest. And if you’ll let me, I’ll tell you why I feel so comfortable marrying the one I was meant for….

Hate the sin, not the sinner? Really?

All I can say about people who say that is…

I am so incredibly happy that you are not the one judging me when I die, G-d is. And no, there isn’t some huge screen and Him thundering “WHY HAVE YOU DONE THESE HORRIBLE SINS?” There is a giant glorious brightly colored throne, with The Father asking “I see these sins in your life, who can account for them?”

And then Jesus rides in on his white horse and says “I Can, Father. Let me explain…”

Experimenting Is Wrong

why I disagree with “experimenting” to find your sexual identity –
easy. you shouldn’t have to question WHAT and WHO you are!!!!!
you should just know.

AND, I really DON’T encourage queer people who tell other people “You just don’t know yet, because you never tried….”…
What are we? 4? This isn’t about liking horses or liking elephants, this is your sexual orientation. don’t do that. you make the rest of us queer people look like morons.

Just yesterday I changed my profile photo on Facebook. It was me and my girlfriend kissing while she held my sign “Hate is Not Holy” up for the Westboro Baptist Church to read who was picketing a local church.

Boy, did that start a whirlwind of comments from well-meaning and misguided friends as well as beautifully loving ones. It saddens me that so many Christians don’t realize that what they are saying is not only hurtful, it is actually hurtful to G-d. G-d wants us to love, to love above anything else. So, how can repeating your opinion on what G-d wants out of life, about someone going to hell for being who they are, be love?

Oh, ignorant and well-meaning family, you will never read this. and that is absolutely fine. You don’t have to. The whole meaning of this post is for me. To clear my head. I will continue to be scarred by friends and/or family

and lifted up by the few who love me as I love them.
